Situated in the Third Quad of Jesus College's central Oxford site, the AFK Esports Suite has been established at Staircase with the repurposed and refurbished former IT rooms. This suite caters to all OUGES members, allowing University gamers to train and compete in esports leagues with peers from other academic institutions. Beyond gaming, the facility offers top-notch computer resources for student workshops covering coding, CGI design, and artificial intelligence technologies.

AFK, a talent and attention marketing agency founded by Oxford University alumnus Matthew Woods, collaborated closely with OUGES to secure partnerships supporting the suite's launch. The space is equipped with 20 high-powered PCs, monitors, and ergonomic furniture provided by partners NZXT, Scan Computers, and Viewsonic.

The official launch event for the Suite will take place on December 12th, 2023 from 16:00 featuring an evening of networking, talks and drinks.
